"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -- Mark Twain

Lumberjack Show- Ketchikan, Alaska

A great show fun for the entire family! Definitely something we don't see in Georgia.
In 1898 the Old Ketchikan Spruce Mill was the largest spruce mill in the world. Providing lumber to Alaska's fish canneries & Gold Rush. Currently today the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show is located on that very site. This outdoor event gives you a chance to see world champions in action. What does a real lumberjack do? In the show you will see and understand of how each lumberjack plays a crucial roll. In this 60 minute show you will be able to cheer for your favorite lumberjack, be amazed by their skills, and maybe even be the lucky one chosen out of the audience to take a bit of Alaska spruce pine home. I got 2 pieces - photo of me with the lumberjacks & wood chips. http://lumberjacksports.com
